Are there chocolate making classes near Reading? – Chocolates for Chocoholics hold Chocolate Workshops in Hurst, just outside Reading. They are great for Birthday Parties, Hen Parties and Corporate team building events.
What happens at a chocolate making workshop? – Depending on which cause you attend, but generally you get to make and decorate your own artisan style chocolate bar and chocolate lollies, filled chocolate slabs, learn and make your own chocolate truffles. There is also a fun quiz (with a prize for the winner) and tasty treats and samples along the way.
How long does a chocolate making experience last? – Children’s Workshops last between 60-90 mins and adult workshops last approx. 2 hours.
Is chocolate making suitable for beginners? – Absolutely. Workshops are for everyone. We have catered for people with no knowledge about chocolate making through to skilled cake makers who want to improve their chocolate skills.
Can children attend chocolate making classes? – We recommend children over the age of 7 attend out Children’s workshops, however we do often have younger children attend if you are confident they can pipe chocolate (with at least some of it ending up in the moulds). Give us a call to discuss and we can talk you though it.
What should I wear to a chocolate making workshop? – We do offer aprons, however it can be a little messy so I wouldn’t wear your best cloths. Ideally short sleeves and hair tied up means less change of having chocolate where it doesn’t belong.
Do I take my chocolates home afterwards? – Of course you do!!! There is no point making delicious chocolate and not enjoying it!
